Four injured in Quetta grenade attack

QUETTA, June 12 Four people, a policeman among them, were injured in a grenade attack on the Fatima Jinnah Road on Saturday night.

Police sources said two men on a motorcycle hurled a grenade towards Head Constable Amjad Ali who was on duty on the road.

Three passers-by — Syed Amanullah, Hafizullah and Sardar Mohammad — were injured in the explosion besides the policemen.

The injured were taken to civil hospital.

Meanwhile, an exchange of fire took place between personnel of Frontier Corps and some men in the Sariab road area, according to sources.

However, no one was injured.
