Woman abducted from Haripur

HARIPUR, Aug 29: A woman was abducted from the jurisdiction of Kotnajibullah police station here on Sunday.

Woman’s father nominated four persons including two women from the same locality in the FIR for kidnapping his daughter.

Advocate Ghulam Hussain Khan of village Sarri lodged report with the Kotnajibullah police station saying that he along with his other family members was in Abbottabad leaving behind his unmarried daughter namely Nighat Afza 35.

Since she was alone at the home four persons including Aziz Khan, his son Riasat Khan, wife Nek Bakht Bibi and daughter Nazma Bibi entered his home and took his daughter with them forcibly.

The police have registered a criminal case against all the four accused under section 365- B of the Pakistan Penal Code.

MISSING MAN UNTRACED: The local police have yet to find clue of a man who went missing from the jurisdiction of city police station about a week back creating a sense of insecurity among his family members about the safety of missing person.

According to family sources Yawar Salim, 45, son of Mohammad Salim, a local landlord was a non-practicing advocate and had the routine to take round of his orchards in village Sikandarpur daily.

On Aug 24 he went for round of his property at around 5pm but could not return home. His family searched for him but found no trace of Mr Salim and informed the local police fearing that he might have been kidnapped for ransom by some organised gang of criminals.

However the local police have not yet found any clue to the man.
