Tremors jolt parts of Dadu

DADU, Aug 31: Amid the fear that Johi and Khairpur Nathan Shah may be flooded in the days to come, the towns, Dadu and Sita Road were jolted by light tremors on Tuesday night.

Its epicentre was 65 kilometres south east of Sibi magnitude of which was 3.5 at the Ritcher scale.

People of these towns came out of their house in panic, gathered on roads and streets and recited verses of Holy Quar'n. According to the Chief Meteorologists Mohammad Raza, tremors were felt for few seconds. Talking to a private TV channel, he said that previously also tremors of same magnitude had jolted these areas. —Correspondent
