BD doctors in Dadu

HYDERABAD, Sept 7: A 40-member delegation of Bangladeshi doctors reached here on Tuesday with 1.7 tons of medicines for flood survivors in Sindh.Led by Prof Khan Abul Kalam Azad, the team will stay in Dadu district for four weeks to examine and provide medical treatment to the flood-affected people.

Addressing a news conference here in a local hotel, special secretary of Sindh health department Dr Majid Khan said that the Bangladesh government would provide 54 tons of medicines in phases. The team, comprising medical specialists of different diseases and paramedical staff, was present on the occasion.—Bureau
