BADIN, Oct 9 An oil reservoir has been discovered by New Horizon Oil Exploration Company near Bhanoon Khaskheli village, 3km from Rajo Khanani town of Talhar taluka, Badin district, after a seismic survey and drilling of exploratory oil wells.

Although no official from the company or Global Drilling Company, which had carried out the drilling, were available for comments, local journalists and villagers confirmed the discovery of the oil reservoir.

Amanullah Nizamani, a Rajo Khanani-based journalist, said that the oil reservoir had been discovered at the depth of 850 feet.Villagers Mir Mohammad Loond and Ashraf Nizamani said that the oil reservoir was located at the farmland of Ashiq Leghari.
