DADU: Villagers stage demo against police

DADU, Sept 14: A large number of villagers staged a demonstration in front of the office of the DPO, investigation, Dadu, on Friday to protest against the killing of Abdullah Panhwar, a watchman of an oil and gas company, BHP.

They were led by Mohammad Juman, a brother of the deceased, and his other relatives.

The demonstrators, carrying banners and placards, were raising slogans against the Johi investigation police and the security in charge of the BHP, Johi camp.

Speaking to the protesters, Juman alleged that the security in charge, Major Shuja Chandio, was involved in the murder of his brother.

He complained that the police were not arresting the major and the other accused.

He warned if the culprits were not arrested, he would stage a demonstration in front of the Governor’s House, Karachi.
