SSGC thrash Young Blood 6-2; PIA defeat PMC Athletico

KARACHI: Asim Faiz’s brilliant four goals enabled Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) to outclass Young Blood FC 6-2 in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) match played at the KPT-Benazir Sports Complex on Friday.

Asim scored in the 18th, 21st, 62nd and 90+1 minutes while Imran Hussain (39th min) and Sabir Khan (86th min) added two more to the winner’s tally. Young Blood FC’s two goals were scored by Asim Mansoor (39th min) and Zain Khalid (69th min).

In the day’s other match, played at the Korangi Baloch Stadium here, PIA beat PMC Athletico 2-0. The goals for the winners were scored by Mohammad Ishtiaq (73rd min) and Nasrullah Khan (87th min).

Saturday’s fixtures:

Afghan FC v Navy at Govt High School, Chaman; Baloch FC v Army at Nushki Football Stadium, Nushki. Matches kick off at 3.00pm.
