MQM leader Babar Ghauri meets Pir Pagara

KARACHI: Federal Minister and a leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Babar Ghauri said on Tuesday his party was contacting all political elements in order to resolve problems of the people.

He said this while talking to media after calling on Chief of Pakistan Muslim League Functional (PML-F), Pir Pagara at Kingri House.

He said    MQM believes in peace and it is contacting all political forces to resolve problems of the people. Earlier, he held an-hour-long meeting with the head of the Functional-League.

They discussed the prevailing political situation in the country, inflation, poverty, unemployment, law and order and other matters of mutual interest.

Babar Ghauri said his purpose for meeting Pir Pagaro is to promote contacts between the parties.

He said Sindh is a land of peace but some people want to disturb it which, he said will be thwarted with the unity of all political entities including the PML-F.

"We will continue to work jointly with Pir Pagaro for development of the Sindh province," said Babar Ghauri.

He told a questioner that “we have no adversary and contacts with political parties is a routine exercise but the    actual purpose    is to find solution to    problems of the people."

The minister said that the people have given mandate to his party and it will continue to work for their welfare.

Speaking on the occasion, Sindh Minister, Imtiaz Sheikh said “we are in regular contact with the MQM and this process will    continue in the future”.

Member of Rabita Committee, Wasey Jaleel, Haq Parast Group Parliamentary Party Leader in Sindh Assembly, MPA Syed Sardar Ahmed, Sindh Minister, Adil Siddiqi and PML-F leader, Imtiaz Sheikh were also present on the occasion.
