Six foreigners held near Chaman

QUETTA, Dec 23: Four Arabs and two Afghans were arrested after crossing over into Pakistani territory from across the border near Chaman on Wednesday night.

“They crossed over into Pakistan using an unfrequented route and failed to present legal travelling documents for crossing the border,” official sources said on Thursday.

A laptop and some documents were seized from them and they were taken to an unspecified place for interrogation. “They may have links with Al Qaeda,” the sources said, adding that the suspects had been booked under the Foreigners' Act.
