KOHAT: At least three people were killed and several others injured in an explosion near the Kohat Tunnel on Friday night.

According to TV reports, the tunnel was closed after the incident.

Some TV reports said it was a suicide attack that left five people dead. No one claimed responsibility for the blast that occurred in the small hours of Saturday.

The Taliban claimed responsibility for the two suicide attacks, one each in Lahore and Karachi, on Tuesday.
