Contractual doctors soon to be made permanent: Gilani

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani announced on Monday that contractual doctors will soon be made permanent.

While speaking to doctors from the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences and the paramedic staff, the prime minister said that a committee has been formed that would evaluate the conditions put forward by the doctors.

The committee is expected to present its report within 15 days.

Gilani added that doctors were an important part of society and the government would continue to work for their betterment.
