Pakistan, Tajikistan handball teams to play in Rahim Yar Khan

RAHIM YAR KHAN: A handball match between Pakistan and Tajikistan will be played in Rahim Yar Khan on April 19, making it the first international event in the district according to District Sports Officer Syed Waqar Hussain Gilani.

Gilani while talking to APP on Friday said the teams would arrive in South Punjab’s historic city on April 18.

“This would be the first international competition in the district”, Gilani said of the match being organised under the aegis of Pakistan Football Federation.

Afghanistan and Tajikistan's handball team's are currently in Pakistan, one of the top handball teams in Asia, on an eight-day tour which features matches between the three teams across the country.
