Musharraf never allowed `boots on the ground`

LAHORE, May 10: Former president Gen Pervez Musharraf had not signed any agreement with the United States to strike inside Pakistan, says the All Pakistan Muslim League.

“During the tenure of Musharraf, the US could not have dared launching operation in Pakistan. The inability of the present government to stop the US from launching military operation inside our territory cannot be linked with Musharraf tenure,” APML leader Javed Badar said in a statement on Tuesday. He dismissed a western media report in this regard and said Musharraf never compromised on the sovereignty of Pakistan. — Staff Reporter
