Pak Fight Club to introduce MMA events in country

LAHORE: Pak Fight Club of Shaheen MMA Academy is set to introduce mixed martial arts cage fighting in Pakistan, a first for a country inclined more towards cricket, hockey and football.

Mixed martial arts is the fastest growing sport in the world and it will be showcased for the first time in the country on June 4 at the Punjab Stadium in Lahore.

Fights will take place in the following weight classes: 61kg, 66kg, 71kg, 77kg, 84kg, 90kg and open weight category in a 30x30 steel cage.and the fight winners will be given cash awards.

Fighters from all over Pakistan will be competing for cash awards and there will be live music throughout the night. -PPI
