PESHAWAR: A police officer was killed in the adjacent area of Regi in Peshawar during search operation on Sunday, according to DawnNews.

According to Police sources, unknown gunmen opened fire during a search operation that led to the killing of the SHO of Regi Police Station.

After the incident, police cordoned off the area and searched for the culprits.

According to police, the terrorists were active in the area and were also involved in terrorist activities in various parts of Peshawar.
