Pakistan football team leaves for Dhaka

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s football team departed for Bangladesh on Sunday to face the hosts in their 2014 World Cup qualifier match on June 29, in Dhaka.

Bangladesh will visit Pakistan on July 3 to play the second leg match of the qualifier at the Punjab Stadium in Lahore.

Pakistan Squad: Jaffer Khan (Captain), Jehangir Khan, Sammer Ishaq, Alamgir Khan, Kamran Khan, M Ahmad, Atif Bashir, Zeeshan Rehman, Faisal Iqbal (vice captain), Manzoor Ahmad, Arif Hussain, Kaleemullah, Mehmood Khan, Hasnain Abbas, Ahmed Akbar Khan, Arif Mehmood, M Qasim, M Ikram, M Rasool and Adnan Farooq. Team officials: Tariq Lutfi (head coach), Nasir Jamal (assistant coach), Gohar Zaman (team manager), Aslam Khan (goalkeepers coach), Kamran Mehdi (physio) and Irfan Niazi (media manager).
