Two students injured in exchange of fire in Charsadda

CHARSADDA, Oct 20: Two students of government degree college Charsadda sustained injuries in exchange of fire between two groups on the college premises here on Thursday.

According to the FIR registered by Islami Jamiat Tulba nazim Habibullah, the activists of Pakhtun Students Federation opened firing on Abdullah and Bilal and injured both of them.

The injured were shifted to district headquarters hospital in Charsadda from where doctors referred them to Peshawar.

He named Ashiq Jala, Shehryar, Azam Khan, Haroon, Kamtan, Fazal Rahim and Naeem Jan in the FIR. He also alleged that the activists of PSF destroyed college furniture and office record.

The IJT and PSF-S later held protest and blocked the main road at Farooq Azam Chowk. They demanded arrest of the attackers and stern action against them.
