QUETTA, Dec 26: Two people were killed and another was injured when armed men opened fire on them in the Eastern Bypass area of the city on Monday.

Police sources said that two men, who came on a motorcycle, entered a house and opened fire on the inmates, killing AmirHamza and Mohammad Jan.

Jamshaid was injured and taken to the civil hospital.

The cause of the killing was said to be a dispute over a piece of land.
