AJK president calls on Musharraf

ISLAMABAD, Nov 27: President Gen Pervez Musharraf has said there is no change in Kashmir policy and Pakistan will continue its political, moral and diplomatic support to liberation movement of Kashmiri people.

The best solution to the Kashmir issue lies in implementation of the UN resolutions as per the wishes of the Kashmiri people, he said while talking to AJK president Sardar Mohammad Anwar Khan, who called on him on Wednesday.

The AJK president briefed Gen Musharraf on the latest political situation in the AJK, and congratulated him on continuation of his term in the office of president for next five years.

He praised the interest Gen Musharraf was taking in the development of the AJK, and said Kashmiri people were thankful to him for continuation of the assistance to the AJK in uplift programmes.

Later, the AJK president visited the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology, where he inquired about the health of Lt-Gen Jamshed Gulzar.
