ISLAMABAD: Mansoor Ijaz has once again refused to come to Pakistan and record his statement before a judicial commission and a parliamentary committee investigating the memo scandal, DawnNews reported.

Akram Sheikh, the counsel for the American businessman, said that Ijaz in his e-mail again refused to come to Pakistan.

Interior Minister Rehman Malik had assured the commission of providing high-level security to Ijaz after he was summoned here today by the commission to explain his position regarding his "controversial" statements on the scandal published in newspapers.
