FC’s retaliatory fire kills seven militants

QUETTA: Seven militants were killed and nine others injured in a gun battle after they ambushed a convoy of Frontier Corps (FC) troops in the Put Feeder area of Naseerabad on Tuesday.

The FC troops were on a routine patrol when unidentified men launched an attack on them.

The back-fire from the soldiers caused the death of seven attackers and injured others.

The wounded have been taken into custody by the FC personnel.

Heavy arms and ammunition also have been recovered from the militants.
