DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Robbers gang busted in D.I. Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Dec 3: A gang of robbers was busted by Paroa police on Sunday but their arrest was kept secret to round up other members of their gang.

According to details, three unidentified persons robbed Mohammad Aslam, resident of Bhutesar village, of his Honda 125cc, 2002 model, at gunpoint near CRBC Distributary No 19 on Nov 20 when he was headed for his way home.

On the instructions of the SSP Dera, SHO Paroa was assigned the job to trace the culprits.

After sometime the said motorcycle was recovered from Mushtaq Ahmad son of Muhammad Yousuf Marwat of village Mansoor, Muhammad Naseer son of Abdul Malik of the same village, and Abdul Wahab son of Muhammad Yousuf Marwat of Titerkhel District Lakki Marwat.

During interrogation, it was revealed that they had bought the motorcycle from Abdur Razzaq, Sona Khan, Fazal Elahi alias Raja of village Shorkot for Rs27,000.

These three men arrested not only confessed to their crime but some weapons were also recovered on their pointation.

It was further revealed that Abdu Razzaq, Sona Khan and Raja were the actual robbers who after snatching the motorcycle sold it off.

The other three, Mushtaq, Naseer and Abdul Wahab were responsible for shifting it from D.I. Khan to Lakki or Bannu. These men have been on the wanted list since 1998.
