QUETTA, April 15: Two people were killed in the Eastern bypass area of the city on Sunday night.

Two men, one of them identified as Abdul Ghani, were passing through the Eastern bypass on a motorcycle when unknown armed men opened fire on them. They died on the spot.

The attackers who were also on a motorcycle escaped.

Police took the bodies to the civil hospital.

The cause of the attack could not be ascertained.

Police registered a case and started investigation.
