QUETTA, May 3: Two brothers were killed when gunmen riding a motorcycle opened fire on them in Asmatabad area of the city on Thursday, police sources said.

Bodies of Azizullah and Ali Akbar Khilji were taken to the Bolan Medical College hospital.

The cause of the attack could not be ascertained.

Cash prize: The Balochistan government announced on Thursday Rs500,000 cash prize for those who would provide information about the suicide attack on the residence of an official of the Frontier Corps in Quetta on Sept 7, 2011.

A statement issued by the home department said the prize would be paid to the person who would inform the home department about the whereabouts of those who made the plot and were involved in the attack on the residence of the FC official on the Inscumb road.
