Pakistan wrap up dismal Azlan Shah campaign with 2-1 loss

KARACHI: Pakistan lost to Great Britain in their last match of the Azlan Shah Cup in Ipoh, Malaysia to finish last in the seven-nation tournament.

Pakistan, who were the losing finalists in last year's tournament, surrendered their lead in yet another match as Great Britain won 2-1.

The Greenshirts scored first through Abdul  Haseem Khan in the 15th minute but gave away the lead as Great Britain's Barry Middleton equalised in the 47th minute.

Ashley Jackson doubled the lead for Great Britain minutes before full time as Pakistan cemented the last berth.

Previously, Pakistan lost to Korea, New Zealand, Malaysia and India and only recorded one win in their opening match against Argentina.
