Caretaker govt: Fazl wants all parties consulted

ISLAMABAD, Sept 12: The JUI-F asked the government on Wednesday to hold consultations with all opposition parties on the caretaker set-up and said it would not accept any decision on the matter taken only by the PPP and PML-N.

The working committee of the JUI which met here with Maulana Fazlur Rehman in the chair decided to accelerate mass mobilisation and asked its district organisations to prepare lists of candidates and proposals for seat adjustment with likeminded parties.

Maulana Fazl said his party would take part in coming elections and would confront what he called secular forces in the elections.The committee expressed grave concern over a visit by the UN working group on missing persons and said it was an interferencein Pakistan’s internal affairs.

The party described the Sindh Local Bodies’ Ordinance as introduction of two systems in the same province which had been rejected even by the government’s coalition partners. It also condemned drone attacks.
