Exchange of delegations to help improve Indo-Pak ties: Nitish Kumar

KARACHI: Chief Minister Bihar Nitish Kumar on Friday said that exchange of delegations can help improve India and Pakistan relations between the two neighbouring countries.

He said this during a brief chat with the media at Jinnah International Airport, after arrival here.

The chief minister of Indian province Bihar arrived in the commercial hub of the country along with a 12-member delegation.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah along with other Sindh ministers received the Indian delegation.

Kumar expressed his joy on coming to Pakistan and said the people of India and Pakistan wish to come closer.

Speaking on the occasion, the Sindh CM said the visit of Nitish Kumar and the Indian delegation is a good omen and we welcome them from bottom of our hearts.

He said the ties between India and Pakistan are being improved and better relation between the two countries is in the interest of both the sides.

Shah agreed with the Bihar CM that the exchange of delegations will help to further strengthen the ties between the two countries.
