Imran to visit Attock on 3rd

ATTOCK, Nov 30: The activists of Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) are making arrangements for the visit of their party leader Imran Khan to Attock on Monday.

Mr Khan will address a gathering of local lawyers after his arrival here on Monday morning.

Later, he will inaugurate the party’s main election office set up at the residence of PTI leader and former state minister Malik Amin Aslam.

The PTI chief will also hold a meeting with party leaders to discuss issues, particularly the intra-party election which will be held here in mid-December.

In order to give a warm welcome to their party chief, the PTI activists are installing large banners and flags on all roads and public places.

They have also displayed portraits of Imran Khan and other leaders at different spots.

The local PTI leaders are also asking their supporters and well-wishers to ensure their maximum presence on the occasion of Imran’s visit.

Meanwhile, local political analysts observed that the leaders of three main political parties in Attock - PPP, PML-N and PML-Q - are monitoring the situation with keen interest. They are alarmed with the increasing popularity of PTI among the local people, especially the youth. These three political parties believe that PTI will give them a tough time in the forthcoming elections.
