KOHAT, Dec 7: Three persons were kidnapped from the Lachi town here on Friday.

Police said a businessman Mukhtiar Gull, his wife Mairaj Begum, who is a doctor, driver Ayaz, a lady health worker Nasrin and a dispenser Saeed Khan, on board an official vehicle, were intercepted by armed men at Warshand area of Lachi town.

Police said the armed men asked the two women to disembark from the vehicle and drove away the vehicle taking along Mukhtiar, the dispenser and the driver. The vehicle was later found abandoned in the mountains. The Lachi police registered case and launched efforts to trace the kidnappers. —Correspondent
