CHAKWAL, Jan 19: One killed, one injured, on Saturday, when a passenger van hit a motorbike, said a police official.

Both were residents of Sarpak locality, in Chakwal city, and were on their way to Bhoun village, when the incident occurred.

The accident happened on the Chakwal-Sargodha Road, when a speeding passenger van coming from the opposite side, hit the motorbike.

Both were taken to the District Headquarters Hospital by Rescue 1122. Saddar Police registered a case against the driver. However the driver managed to escape from the scene of the accident. —Correspondent
