PML-N silent over Quetta carnage

WHILE one can understand that the Sharif family was mourning the tragic death of Abbas Shariff, I fail to understand where were all the others when the Quetta carnage took place and their next of kin were protesting for four days in below-freezing temperatures.

After all they have a leader of opposition in the National Assembly and in the Senate.

Then there is the vocal MNA from Lahore, whose younger brother is an MPA, while his wife was nominated on a reserved woman’s seat. The gentleman had all the time to defend contractors whenever an overhead bridge collapsed because his family itself was involved in construction and real-estate business.

It is time the PML-N put its house in order instead of a party seemingly dominated by Kashmiri clans and traders too busy pursuing their individual business interests.
