30 robberies in 48 hours in Faisalabad
FAISALABAD, Jan 18: Dacoits, robbers and thieves made off with thousands of rupees and gold, besides hijacking 13 motorcycles and three cars in 30 strikes in the city and its adjoining areas during the last 48 hours.
Muhammad Habib, a resident of Alipur, was shot at and injured by dacoits on resistance.
Three robbers seriously injured Shazia Bibi when she raised alarm in Al-Meezan Colony in Saddar area.
Watchman Sadiq Ali of a cotton factory on Chak Jhumra Road was injured by dacoits on resistance.
