15 robbery incidents in Sialkot
SIALKOT, Jan 19: Unidentified armed outlaws injured two women on resistance, looted cash, mobile phones, other valuables worth hundreds and thousands of rupees and took away three cars, two tractor trollies in 15 strikes in the Sialkot district during the last 24 hours.
Five armed robbers picketed on the Sialkot-Pasrur-Narowal Road, intercepted three passers-by and looted cash, ornaments and other valuables worth Rs150,000.
Four dacoits barged into the houses of Muhammad Rafiq and Razia Bibi in Thathi Mardana village, Pasrur, looted ornaments, cash, and electronic items worth Rs100,000 at pistol point. The intruders injured seriously Razia Bibi for putting up resistance. She was admitted to a local hospital in critical condition.
On the Sialkot-Shakargarh-Muridkey Road, three robbers snatched a car (LHX-6340) on gunpoint from Khundariyan’s village landlord, Muhammad Khalid.
In Jassuran village, Pasrur tehsil, eight bandits busted into Muhammad Iqbal’s house and injured seriously his wife for raising an alarm. She was rushed to hospital in serious condition. The dacoits escaped after scooping valuables worth Rs100,000.
In Cantonment area of Sialkot, two armed motorcyclists snatched Rs151,000, the salaries of female teachers, from headmistress Salima Kausar of the Government Girls Primary School, Bhattey Wid Kalan.
In Ranjhai village, Daska, four robbers deprived Manzar Hussain of his tractor.
Three armed highwaymen snatched a car (GAC-4488) from Rafiq, Abid and Amjad of Philora village on the main Daska-Sialkot Road near Ghueinky Village, Motra.
Three robbers relieved at pistol point Asif Sherwani and his friend Shahid Khan of a car (STJ-199), Rs16,000 in cash and a mobile phone in Bhopalwala village, Daska.
Thieves took away a tractor-trolley of farmer Qamar Shehbaz which was loaded with potatoes in Bhukran village.
In Hajipura, Daska, thieves took away cash, ornaments, electronic items and other valuables worth Rs200,000 from the house of Sajjad Azhar. — Correspondent
