Christians demonstrate in Quetta

QUETTA, March 10: Members and supporters of the Christian League and Christian Unity took out a procession and held a demonstration outside the press club here on Sunday, condemning torching of houses of the community’s members in Lahore and demanding arrest of the attackers.

Carrying placards and banners, the protesters chanted slogans against the Punjab government.

Addressing a press conference, Dr Joseph John, a leader of Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf, said the inaction of the Punjab government and police had proven that they were least interested in protecting the lives and property of the Christian community.
