Two men kidnapped near Sanghar

SANGHAR, Nov 27: Two men were kidnapped from a wagon by a gang of dacoits near Allah Bux Malkani village on late Monday night.

The dacoits, reportedly led by Yousuf Mari, stopped the wagon which was coming from Hyderabad. They looted the passengers and kidnapped five people. They released three of them after a while.

The two who were kidnapped have been identified as Lal Chand, resident of Jhol, and M. Akmal, resident of Sinhjoro town, a goldsmith by profession.

A heavy contingent of police is on the lookout of the dacoits near Mir Muhammad Rind village at Timor Mori.

An armoured personnel carrier from Hyderabad and one from the police headquarters were also being used in the search. The SSP, Sanghar, Shahid Hanif, was supervising the operation.

The dacoits who are heavily armed also have a rocket launcher.
