Mengal to restart long march for protection of Gwadar

QUETTA, June 4 (APP) Balochistan National Party-Mengal supremo, Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal has vowed to reorganise Lashkar-i-Balochistan long march for the protection of Gwadar port and said his party will not accept handing over the port city to the center.

Addressing the first public meeting in Hub after his arrest one and a half years back when he was going to lead Lashkar-i-Balochistan long march, he said that the government at the center was unable to understand the pains of the people and resolve their problems in Balochistan.

He set three conditions for holding negotiations with the federal government on Balochistan and said nationalists will not hold talks until these conditions are met. These included immediate halt of military operation, recovery of missing people and release of all political workers in the province.

He said that problems of Balochistan will not be resolved till the government accepts the right of Baloch people to control over their resources.
