Hockey trials

LAHORE, Feb 18: Trials to select Pakistan junior team for Akhbar Al-Youm hockey tournament will now be held at the National Hockey Stadium on Saturday.

Manager and camp-commandant Abdul Rauf said  that a slight change had been made and now a final team for the tournament to be held in Egypt from March 6 to 14 would be selected with six stand-byes instead of reducing the probables of the on-going training camp from 46.

The national selection committee headed by former Olympian, Akhtar Rasool Chaudhary, will watch the hopefuls in the trials.
