Pakistan beat West Indies in another thriller

ABU DHABI Another exciting match comes to an end with West Indies losing the match after they were given several chances by Pakistan. From the West Indian point of view, Chanderpauls innings was key but wickets kept falling around him, making it difficult for him to reach the modest total set by Pakistan.

Intikhab Alam, the new Pakistan, must be delighted with his teams effort. This will put some burden off his and captain Shoaib Maliks shoulders.

An all-round performance by Sohail Tanvir gets him the man-of-the-match award. A number of Pakistani players chipped in with good performances with the bat and ball. A few dropped catches and missed run-out chances will must be worked on. Overall, a much-welcome win for the Pakistan cricket team that has been hit by controversies and rusty performances over the last few months.

The final match of the three-match tournament takes place on Sunday where West Indies will look to restore some pride and Pakistan will aim for a white-wash.
