SANGHAR: Only four constables clear written test

SANGHAR, Feb 26: The district police officer, Dr Ameer Ahmed Shaikh, has made it mandatory for the head constables to pass a written test if they wanted to be posted at police stations. Dozens of them abstained from taking the test. Only 19 appeared for the test. Of these, 15 failed.

In most criminal cases, there remain flaws in the cases due to these incompetent head constables as a result of which the criminals can not be convicted.

This is considered to be a lucrative post as even MNAs and MPAs are interested in having their relatives posted as head constables.—Correspondent
