80 arrested for pillion riding in Multan

MULTAN, March 7: As many as 80 people were arrested by the police for violating the ban on pillion-riding here on Thursday.

Bohar Gate police arrested Shahzad, Shakil, Qasim, Khalid, Sajjad, Rashid, Ramazan and Arshad.

Kotwali police arrested Imran, Yasser, Farhan, Kamran, Tahir and Idrees.

Cantt police rounded up Azeem, Qaisar, Rizwan and Amjad while Jalilabad police arrested Yasir, Hasnain, Imran, Zulfiqar, Saeed, Iftikhar, Habib and Naeem.

Chehlyak police arrested Habib, Aftab, Imran, Akram, Rafiuddin, Abdul Hamid, Fahd, Saad, Nabil and Shoaib, while Haram Gate police apprehended Arshad, Pervaiz, Hanif, Ismail, Haris, Imtiaz, Akram, Ali Ejaz, Mazhar Husain and Ateequr Rahman.

Delhi Gate police took into custody Sajjad, Siraj, Sagheer, Sardar Mohammed, Ghulam Farid, Dildar, Shaikh Farid, Nisar, Ghulam Farid, Azam, Ghafoor, Ibrahim, Wahid and Ghulam Abbas, while Pak Gate police arrested Tariq Mahboob and Abid.

New Multan police arrested Javed, Ishrat Husain, Nazir Ali, Zafar, Azam, Ayub, Naeem, Amir, Mustafa and Mubashir, while Seetal Maari police arrested Sarwar, Fahim, Farooq, Amaar, Haji Riaz, Altaf, Mohammed Khan and Riaz.—APP
