Three `terrorists` arrested in Zhob; weapons seized

QUETTA, Oct 2 Police arrested three suspected terrorists and seized huge cache of sophisticated weapons and explosives in Zhob.

DPO Raz Mohammad Tareen claimed at a press conference on Saturday night that the arrested men wanted to blow up Zhob Airport and Police Lines in the city.

He said police on a tip-off raided an abandoned house and found weapons and explosives in the possession of Noorullah, Hamidullah and Hanfia.

The seized weapons included 46 anti-aircraft mortars, 11 mortars, 10 packets of ammunitions and one hand grenade.

The DPO said the ammunitions were to be used for making suicide jackets.

He said the arrested men had come to Zhob from Waziristan and two of them belonged to Loralai and one Waziristan.
