RAWALPINDI: Church attack: charges to be framed against six accused

RAWALPINDI, March 22: The judge of the anti-terrorist court number II, Safdar Hussain Malik, on Friday handed over the copies of the recorded statements of the witnesses to six accused in the Murree Missionary School and Taxila Church terrorism cases.

The copies of the statements were handed over to the accused Saifur Rehman alias Saifi, Abu Bakar, Attaullah, Atif, Abdul Qadeer and Izhar. The accused are involved in both the cases. The court would frame charges on March 29.

The additional district and sessions judge, Sanaullah Malik, awarded five-month rigorous imprisonment to a drug-peddler. The court also imposed a fine of Rs20,000 on the convict, Hasan Pervez.

In case of default, he would have to undergo another month of jail term. Pir Wadhai police had recovered half kilogramme charas from the accused during a search operation.
