Pathologist shot dead in Quetta

QUETTA, May 22 A pathologist working for Bolan Medical College was shot dead on Saturday in what police suspected a case of target killing.

Sources said that Dr Qamar Hussain was travelling in his car when gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire at him near Barrach market on Serki road killing him and wounding his driver.

The driver was taken to civil hospital.Police said it could be an incident of target killing.

A spokesman for the banned Baloch Liberation Army claimed responsibility for the attack.
