GILGIT, March 30: The residents of Gilgit city have deplored an artificial drought created by the local municipal authorites for the last one and a half months.

They said that Gilgit city and its surrounding areas were facing acute water crisis due to “unfinished” desilting of two water channels.—Correspondent
