HYDERABAD: Nazim to brook no delay in school shifting

HYDERABAD, April 2 District Nazim Kanwar Naveed Jamil has directed the officials concerned to shift Khadija Girls Secondary School, housed in the historical Mukhi House, to a new building which is being constructed on the premises of Qazi Akbar Primary School as soon as possible.

He issued the instructions during A visit to the under-construction school building on Holm Stead Incline near Pakka Qila.

The DO of buildings informed the nazim that necessary facilities, including water supply and wash rooms, had been made available in the under-construction building.

Mr Jamil directed the EDO of education and the DO, secondary education, to ensure that the school was shifted to the new building without delay. He said that it was necessary for renovation and beautification of Mukhi House which would be handed over to the Sindh culture department.
