KARACHI Pakistan number one Muhammad Sajjad kept his chances alive for a place in the knock-out stage of Sangsom 6-Red World Snooker Championship at Bangkok,Thailand on Wednesday when he out-potted Muhammad Al Joaker of United Arab Emirates (UAE) 5-1.
Sargodha based Sajjad, who lost in the final of the Asian championship a few months ago in Thailand, dropped the second frame before thrashing Joaker 61-0, 9-56, 30-17, 43-19, 33-1, 30-8.
Earlier on Tuesday evening Barry Hawkins of England recovered after losing the opening frame to beat Sajjad 0-68, 59-0, 57-1, 37-25, 32-1, 73-0, 48-0.
Sajjad had won two matches, lost as many and will meet Liu Chung of China in the last league decider later in the evening. - APP
