HANGU Militants released the eight health officials abducted from the Hangu district earlier on Monday, officials told DawnNews.

The officials were kidnapped from Hangus Darsmand area, DawnNews quoted official sources as saying.

Subsequently, the EDO Health, Hangu, had suspended the anti-polio campaign in the region.
