FIR registered against murder of five men

LARKANA, April 15: The taluka police station on Tuesday registered the murder case of five persons of a family.

Shabeer, Khadim Hussain, Niaz, Nabi Bakhsh and Shahid were killed in a clash between two groups of the Abro clan on Monday night.

Nazim Hussain, the son of the deceased Khadim Hussain, lodged the FIR, nominating Nazeer alias Nazeero, Rahib, Peeral, Sahib Abro, Yasin, Alidino alias Leeloo, Mumtaz alias Kukkur, Qasim, Ariz Mohammad alias Kuraro, Qamaruddain, Ali Raza, Allahwadhayo, Younus, Gul Mohammad, Abdul Jabbar, Wali Mohammad, Ajeeb, Abdul Aziz, Meer, Mohammad Ali, Habibullah and Wajid.

The complainant in the FIR stated the rival group had beaten up his cousin, Shahid Hussain, who had gone to Baqapur to visit his relatives, and made him hostage.

He said on receiving the information he and his relatives rushed to the area to release Shahid Hussain. He said they came under fire when they arrived at the house of Rahib Abro. Five of his family members were killed in the firing, he added.

The police have arrested Rahib and Raza and recovered three Kalashnikovs, one gun, 67 bullets, 36 cartridges and three magazines.

Earlier, when the SHO of the taluka police station arrived at the scene to approach the bereaved families for registering the FIR, some enraged people reportedly shot at him but he remained unhurt.
