2 security men killed in Quetta, Gwadar

QUETTA, Oct 15 Two security personnel were killed and six others injured in a grenade attack in Quetta and a bomb blast in Gwadar on Thursday.

Sources said six people, including three FC men, were injured when a hand grenade was hurled at a vehicle of the Frontier Corps in Sariab road area.

FC man Ehsanullah succumbed to his injuries after reaching hospital.

The injured FC men were identified as Mohammad Iqbal and Fazal. Three civilians Naseer, Bashir and Farooq were injured in the attack.

Police sources said the FC vehicle was patrolling the area. The attackers escaped on a motorbike.

In Gwadar, a police constable was killed and another one was injured when a powerful bomb planted in a motorcycle went off.
