ISLAMABAD A FT-7 fighter-trainer aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force crashed 40 kilometres south of Mianwali while on a routine training mission, causing damage to three houses and injuring six civilians
The injured persons were evacuated by a special C-130 aircraft to Rawalpindi CMH for better medical treatment, APP reports.
Both of the aircraft's pilots ejected safely.
On the instructions of Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman, the PAF will fully compensate the damage caused on the ground and provide free medical facilities to those injured in the incident.
Meanwhile, a board of inquiry has been ordered by Air Headquarters to determine the cause of accident.
